LIFESTYLE | A LIFE IN LINE WITH YOUR GOALS AND VALUES

Before any numbers, any tools, any calculations: understand what you are actually trying to do, and why.

Lifestyle is not the reward at the end of the financial journey. It is the compass you set at the beginning. Choose it clearly, and everything downstream — your savings rate, your investment horizon, your definition of enough — becomes simpler and more purposeful. Get it wrong, and you risk optimising efficiently for the wrong destination.

The right lifestyle is both the goal and the engine. A life designed around what you actually value costs less, wastes less time and energy, and gets you where you want to go faster, and keeps you there longer.

One boundary worth respecting: there is a point beyond which optimising budgets, habits and systems becomes counter-productive. Don’t over-sweat your assets. Don’t hurt the goose that lays the golden egg.

“A healthy man has 1,000 wishes. A sick man has only one.” Confucius

LIFESTYLE | MY OUTDOOR ADVENTURES

Sports and time outdoors are pillar habits — the kind that keep everything else in balance. Financial freedom, to me, is having the time and energy to protect them. Not what you accumulate, but how you live. That is well-being.

On my Brompton Cycling Time YouTube channel, I share my “frilutsliv” bike adventures.
